Performance Cattle Bred To Be Fed

 

Here at Egan Ranch Inc. we raise cattle on grass, hay, and water. Our cattle are only supplemented on Smartlic Chelated 12/12 mineral and Iodized block salt. Yet our mother cows consistently year in and year out raise calves that weigh close to 600 lbs. Our first calf is usually born around the 15th of March and we usually ship around the tenth of October. Our cattle are long, deep bodied, and carry a lot of muscle. It’s not surprising that they perform very well in the feed lot as well. We are currently putting together some data on our calves performance in the feedlot and that information will be available on our performance page shortly.

 

Each year we stay in touch with our buyers and ask them what we need to be doing better. We currently offer Red Angus calves that are All Natural, Age and Source Verified while implementing the best vaccination program money can buy. Our calves have a gentle nature but have plenty of vigor for the toughest of conditions. We have been careful and tedious in improving our cattle for what our buyers need. We believe that we offer the best beef product available. It is also our belief that our buyers have to make money with our calves or we won’t.
